--- title: Azure messaging services - Service Manager to Resource Manager description: This article provides mapping of deprecated Azure Service Manager REST API & PowerShell cmdlets to Resource Manager REST API & PowerShell cmdlets. ms.topic: article ms.date: 01/16/2025 --- # Deprecation of Azure Service Manager support for Azure Service Bus, Relay, and Event Hubs Resource Manager, our next-generation cloud infrastructure stack, is fully replacing the "classic" Azure Service Management model (classic deployment model). As a result, classic deployment model REST APIs for Service Bus, Relay, and Event Hubs will be retired on December 1, 2021. This deprecation was first announced on a [Microsoft Tech Community announcement](https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Service-Bus-blog/Deprecating-Service-Management-support-for-Azure-Service-Bus/ba-p/370909). For easy identification, these APIs have `management.core.windows.net` in their URI. Refer to the following table for a list of the deprecated APIs and their Azure Resource Manager API version that you should now use. To continue using Service Bus, Relay, and Event Hubs, move to Resource Manager by November 30, 2021. We encourage all customers who are still using old APIs to make the switch soon to take advantage of the extra benefits of Resource Manager, which include resource grouping, tags, a streamlined deployment and management process, and fine-grained access control using Azure role-based access control (Azure RBAC).
